Following a 3 1/2 hour flight from Copenhagen, we arrived in Istanbul, Turkey at about 5:30 am. Istanbul is the only metropolitan city in the world situated among two continents. We stayed on the European side. Here are some pictures that I took that evening from the hotel balcony overlooking the Marmara Sea. In the distance is the Asian side of Istanbul.
