The Bakery - Sdr. Omme, Denmark

These are the few pictures I got of the bakery. We were too busy working to get any pictures. I don't think I'll be making another Danish cookie, ever! Exhaused!!

Luisa, hiding in the background. She was one (of the many) that ended up on our "list" for making us double batches of cookie dough. If it wasn't for Rich and I, she'd be making those cookies.

Copenhagen, Denmark 8/17-8/18

The train station in Copenhagen that I arrived at from the airport.

My first meal in Denmark was at this McDonald's across the street from the train station. It was the most expensive McDonald's meal I've ever had. 2 standard value meals cost about $30 U.S. Dollars.

View from the hotel in Copenhagen the next morning.

London to Copenhagen 8/17/08

The TV monitors on my flight on SAS Airlines showed the view from the front of the plane as well as under the plane during our take-off and landing. Pictured here is the runway as we landed into Copenhagen.

Yotel at London Heathrow 8/17/08

Finally arrived in London at about 6am. EXHAUSTED!! Couldn't wait to get to my cabin at London Heathrow Airport's new Yotel for some zzz's. Arrived at Yotel, just in time for my reservation at 8am when the receptionist there told me that they had to close it down for the day because the water supply had to be shut off due to some sewage/plumbing problem. I couldn't believe it! They instead put me up at the Hilton which is connected to the airport and was only a ten minute walk away. In the meantime, they were gracious enough to let me hang out at one of the cabins while they set up my reservation at the Hilton. I have to say, the bed at Yotel was so much more comfortable than the one at the Hilton.
